We’re glad you’re here.
Joy Pediatrics reflects the heart of what occupational therapy should bring to children and their families: hope, growth, and joy found in the little victories. Happiness is often a momentary emotion, whereas joy represents how we experience and embrace life regardless of circumstances. Joy Pediatrics is deeper than fleeting happiness. Our goal is to help children and their families discover joy in the journey while fostering confidence, resilience, and lasting joy.
Occupations are meaningful, everyday activities.
In occupational therapy, we support an individual to build, restore, or adapt occupations. Play is a meaningful occupation in childhood, therefore our sessions are fun and engaging. Through play, we build skills such as:
Fine motor skills
Visual motor integration
Self-care skills
Feeding
Sensory processing and regulation
Attention and focus
Executive functioning
Play and social skills
Adaptive skills
Our Services
At Joy Pediatrics, we bring pediatric occupational therapy services directly to your home, school, or community setting. By meeting children in their natural environment, we make therapy practical, engaging, and tailored to your specific needs. If you prefer to meet in a neutral environment, we have resources available to provide this option. We accept major insurances and private pay and provide a free 15 minute consultation.
We are Birth to Three providers at Joy Pediatrics. Our early intervention occupational therapy services support infants and toddlers from birth to age three in reaching important developmental milestones. We collaborate with the child’s family to determine appropriate goals for foundational skills, including feeding, play, movement, and sensory processing. We meet the child in their natural environment for services to provide a collaborative approach with caregivers.
At Joy Pediatrics, we believe children thrive when caregivers feel confident and supported. Therefore, we provide professional development workshops for schools, childcare centers, homeschool groups, and parent organizations. Our trainings are designated to be practical, engaging, immediately applicable, and tailored to your needs. Our trainings range from education on sensory processing, developmental milestones, to supporting sensory and motor development.
